A knowledge asset is a reusable body of structured information including definitions, FAQs, schema markup, entity maps, datasets, and internal logic systems. Knowledge assets are the foundation of AI search visibility because AI systems are built to consume, cite, and reference structured knowledge.
Examples include: glossary pages with DefinedTerm schema, FAQ pages with FAQPage schema, llm.json and LLM.txt endpoint files, content catalogs in JSON format, and structured data annotations across a website's content library.
